EXECUTIVE SEDAN
solo travelers and pairs with carry-on luggage. A business traveler heading from a Lincoln Park address to O'Hare with a bag and a briefcase, or an evening trip to dinner and a show.
Scheduled airport transfers, residential pickups, family transportation, and private chauffeur service throughout Lincoln Park.
LimoRSVP provides scheduled, chauffeured car service throughout Lincoln Park — transfers to O’Hare and Midway, visits to DePaul University’s Lincoln Park Campus, hotel and residential pickups, theatre and concert nights, family travel, and group movements that need more than one vehicle. Every trip is reserved in advance and coordinated by our office rather than requested on demand.
In a neighborhood built largely of rowhomes, greystones, three-flats and permit-parking blocks, the drive is rarely the complicated part of the reservation. The pickup point is. A Lincoln Park trip runs well when the exact address, the entrance you will actually walk out of, and a mobile contact number are settled before the day of travel — and that is the part we plan with you.
To get started, request a quote with your trip details, or book online if you have a straightforward direct transfer.
Most Lincoln Park reservations begin at a private address, and most of those addresses sit on blocks where a car cannot simply idle at the curb. Residential permit parking, bike lanes, loading restrictions, street cleaning, snow routes and narrow one-way stretches all affect where a vehicle can legitimately stop and for how long.
We plan around that rather than discovering it on the morning of a flight. When you reserve, tell us the street address and the entrance you will use — front steps, garden unit, lobby, alley-side garage, or a corner where the block is easier to work with. Your chauffeur arrives ahead of the scheduled pickup time and stays reachable, so if the block is obstructed the two of you can adjust to the nearest workable point instead of circling.
A few details that consistently make a difference:
Lincoln Park’s lodging is smaller-format than downtown Chicago’s, and the arrival drives reflect that. Hotel Lincoln on North Clark Street, for example, operates valet at its entrance, so a chauffeured pickup is usually arranged with the door staff or at an agreed point rather than assuming an open curb. Smaller inns and guesthouses in the neighborhood often have no drive at all. Tell us the property name at booking and we will confirm the meeting arrangement in advance. Curb access at any hotel, venue or residence depends on the property and on conditions that day.
O’Hare International Airport is the primary airport for most Lincoln Park travel, and Midway International Airport serves a meaningful share of it. Both are handled as scheduled reservations with the flight attached to the trip. Broader procedures live on our Chicago airport transportation page.
Routing from Lincoln Park is genuinely variable. A departure may run west toward the Kennedy Expressway using the Fullerton or Armitage corridors, or move along DuSable Lake Shore Drive before turning inland, and the better option changes with the hour, the weather, construction, lakefront events and the specific block you are leaving from. For that reason we do not publish a drive time from Lincoln Park to either airport. We build the pickup time around your flight, your address, your bag count and the airport buffer you want, and we would rather set that buffer with you than have you guess at it.
Early-morning departures are the most common Lincoln Park airport trip and the one most worth over-planning. Confirm the exact address and entrance, the number of bags, whether a child seat is needed, and whether anyone in the party needs extra time getting down front steps. If your flight moves, contact the office and we will reset the reservation.
For a single defined trip like a home-to-airport run, point-to-point service is normally the right format. Details specific to each airport are on our O’Hare limo service and Midway limo service pages.
For arrivals, flight-monitoring software updates our system and your assigned chauffeur as your flight changes, so the pickup adjusts to when you actually land rather than when you were scheduled to. You do not need to re-book or explain a delay.
You then choose how you meet the car. Curbside pickup suits travelers who know the airport and are carrying little. Meet-and-greet — your chauffeur inside the terminal, assisting with luggage — is the better choice for international arrivals, several bags, children, older relatives, or a client you are hosting. Our guide to where to meet your chauffeur at O’Hare walks through how this works terminal by terminal. Meeting locations vary by terminal and by conditions on the day, so specific arrangements are confirmed with your reservation.
DePaul’s Lincoln Park Campus sits at Fullerton Avenue and Sheffield Avenue, with buildings spread across several blocks rather than concentrated at one entrance. That distinction matters when someone is being picked up: “DePaul” is not an address, and the difference between the admission offices on North Sheffield, the student center, and a residence hall two blocks away is the difference between a smooth pickup and a phone call.
We regularly coordinate campus transportation for:
Parents and families arriving for tours, orientation, move-in and move-out weekends
Visiting speakers, faculty candidates and conference attendees traveling from O’Hare or Midway
Graduation weekend travel, when the surrounding streets are at their busiest
Students traveling to the airport at the start and end of terms, often booked by a parent
Give us the building name or street address rather than the campus name, and we will confirm a workable meeting point. During move-in, commencement and other high-traffic periods, the streets immediately around campus are frequently restricted or congested, so we may agree on a nearby corner in advance. Visitor traffic in this area often uses the Clifton parking deck on North Clifton Avenue, which can also serve as a recognizable landmark when setting a meeting point.
Departments and companies bringing visitors in repeatedly may find our Chicago corporate transportation service a better fit, since it handles recurring bookings and travel arranged on someone else’s behalf.
Booking travel for a student, speaker or visiting family member? Send the itinerary and we will confirm the pickup arrangements before the trip.
The Cannon Drive corridor is its own small transportation environment. Lincoln Park Zoo, at 2400 North Cannon Drive, is free to enter and takes no reservations, which means arrival volume is unpredictable and heavily weather-dependent — a warm Saturday behaves nothing like a Tuesday in March. The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, just north at 2430 North Cannon Drive, has no dedicated parking lot of its own and directs passenger drop-offs to the bus turnaround near its front entrance.
For families, this is exactly the trip where a scheduled car earns its place: you are dropped where you actually want to be, you are not hunting for parking on Cannon or Stockton, and the return is already arranged. For fundraisers, member events and private functions held in the park buildings, arrival routing is often set by the event itself, so send us the event details and we will plan the drop-off and the return around them. Larger or multi-vehicle functions are covered on our Chicago event transportation page.
Access to any specific curb or drive in the park depends on Chicago Park District operations, the event, and conditions that day, so meeting points are confirmed with the reservation rather than promised in advance.
Lincoln Park’s evening venues are close together but awkward to combine on foot. Steppenwolf Theatre Company sits at 1650 North Halsted, a short distance north of North Avenue. Park West is on West Armitage near Clark. Lincoln Hall is on North Lincoln Avenue. Dinner is usually somewhere along Halsted, Armitage, Clark or Lincoln, often not adjacent to the venue.
The practical complication is the curb. Steppenwolf runs valet directly in front of its main entrance, and on a sold-out night the block is working hard. The same is true along Armitage before a Park West show. A chauffeur cannot assume front-door access at any of these venues, which is why the return pickup should be agreed when you book rather than sorted out in a crowd at 10:15 p.m.
That leads to the format question:
works for a single defined trip — home to the theatre, or restaurant to home — where the timing is known.
works when both the drop-off and the return time are firm.
is the better choice once the evening has moving parts: dinner and a show, an uncertain curtain time, drinks after, or a party arriving from different places. Your chauffeur stays with you and the schedule can shift. See hourly chauffeur service for how it works, and our comparison of hourly versus point-to-point chauffeur service if you are weighing the two.
As a general rule, three or more stops in one evening usually means hourly is the right call.
A large share of Lincoln Park bookings involve children, and that changes the reservation in three specific ways.
Child seats can be arranged when they are requested in advance. Tell us how many you need and the ages and approximate weights of the children at the time of booking so the correct seats can be confirmed for your trip. This is not something to add on the morning of a flight.
The most common booking mistake on family airport trips is fitting the passengers and forgetting the bags. A family of four with four checked bags, two carry-ons and a stroller is an SUV trip, not a sedan trip. Tell us the bag count along with the passenger count.
Families booking rideshares for airport travel routinely end up split across vehicles because of seat and luggage limits. A single reserved vehicle keeps everyone together, which matters at 4:30 a.m. more than it does at any other hour.
The right vehicle is decided by passengers and luggage together, plus child seats, stops, trip length, and how much room you actually want.

the default when luggage is the issue, or when passengers would rather step up into a vehicle than down into one. Family airport travel, campus move-in, and trips with strollers, sports equipment or several checked bags.
larger groups traveling together with luggage: a family and visiting relatives, a campus group, a wedding party, or an event movement where everyone should arrive at once.
Exact passenger and luggage capacity is confirmed when you book, since fit depends on the specific configuration and how the bags actually pack. You can compare classes on our Chicago limo fleet page.
When one vehicle is not enough — a graduation weekend, a family event, a corporate group staying in the neighborhood — we coordinate multiple vehicles so they arrive and depart together rather than as separate bookings. Our Chicago group transportation service covers manifests, staged arrivals and multi-vehicle timing.
Pricing depends on the trip rather than on a neighborhood flat rate. The variables that matter most:
Published pricing is on our Chicago limo rates page. For anything with stops, groups or a flight attached, a quote will be more accurate than a rate table. If you are comparing providers, our list of questions to ask before booking airport transportation is a useful checklist.
LimoRSVP has served Chicago since 2004 and is a member of the National Limousine Association. What that means for a Lincoln Park reservation is fairly concrete:
Lincoln Park sits within our broader Chicago car service area, and we frequently coordinate trips between here and neighboring areas including Gold Coast car service and River North car service.
Yes. Transfers between Lincoln Park and both O’Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport are among our most frequent trips. Provide your flight details with the reservation, and we will build the pickup time around your flight, address, and luggage. Travel time varies with traffic, weather, construction, events, and time of day, so we set the airport buffer with you rather than publishing a fixed drive time.
Yes, by advance reservation. Because many Lincoln Park blocks have permit parking, limited loading space, or one-way traffic, we ask for the exact street address, the entrance you plan to use, and a mobile contact number. Your chauffeur arrives ahead of the scheduled time and stays reachable so the meeting point can be adjusted if the block is obstructed.
Yes. The campus is centered on Fullerton Avenue and Sheffield Avenue and spans several blocks, so please give us the building name or street address rather than just “DePaul.” We coordinate travel for parents, visiting speakers, move-in and move-out, graduation weekend, and student airport trips. During high-traffic periods, we may agree on a nearby meeting point in advance. LimoRSVP is not affiliated with DePaul University.
Child seats can be arranged when requested in advance. Tell us how many you need and the ages and approximate weights of the children when you book so the correct seats can be confirmed for your trip.
Yes. We schedule drop-offs and returns for Lincoln Park Zoo, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, and events held in the park. Drop-off and pickup points along Cannon Drive depend on Chicago Park District operations, the specific event, and conditions that day, so meeting arrangements are confirmed with your reservation.
Yes. Hourly chauffeur service suits evenings with more than one stop or an uncertain end time—dinner before a show at Steppenwolf or Park West, drinks afterward, or a group arriving from different places. As a general rule, three or more stops in one evening means hourly service is usually the better fit. A single defined trip is normally better booked point-to-point.
Yes. We coordinate SUVs, Mercedes Sprinter vans, and multiple vehicles for families, campus groups, weddings, and event movements. Exact passenger and luggage capacity is confirmed when you book, since fit depends on the vehicle configuration and how the bags pack. For movements requiring several vehicles, we plan the timing so the group arrives together.
Yes. Wrigley Field is a short trip north and a frequent Lincoln Park request. Because game-day and concert-day traffic control changes where vehicles can stop, the return pickup should be agreed upon when you book. Full details are available on our Wrigley Field transportation page.
Your chauffeur arrives ahead of the scheduled pickup time and remains reachable by phone. If the block is obstructed by permit parking, a delivery, construction, valet operations, or an event, you and your chauffeur agree on the nearest workable point—a corner, driveway, or the far side of the street. Sharing the entrance you plan to use at the time of booking prevents most of these situations.
Pickup address and entrance, destination, date and pickup time, flight or event details, passenger count, luggage count, any child seats, additional stops, whether you need a return trip, and a vehicle preference if you have one. If you are unsure which vehicle or service format fits, describe the trip and we will recommend one. More general answers are available on our Chicago limousine service FAQ page.
Tell us where you are starting, where you are going and when. We will confirm the vehicle, the timing and the pickup arrangement before the day of travel.
